Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi’s airport. Welcome to India!! Meet and greet upon arrival garlanding with fresh marigold flower and transfer to hotel for check in (Check in Time 1200 Hrs Noon) Overnight at hotel
Day 02 : Delhi
Morning after breakfast proceed for tour of historic city of Old Delhi to include magnificent Red Fort, The Jama Masjid , India`s largest mosque, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride through the silver street in Chandani Chowk ( Red Fort Closed on Mondays).
Afternoon sightseeing in New Delhi to include Humayun`s Tomb, Qutab Minar, India gate and Government buildings. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi – Raipur (By Flight) - Jagdalpur
This morning you will be transferred to the airport to board flight (0545 / 0720 hrs) to Raipur. On arrival you will be driven straight to Jagdalpur (approx 5 hrs drive), the capital of Bastar region, the starting point for our operations in the indigenous tribal areas, which are located in the heart of Chhattisgarh. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 04 : Jagdalpur
In the morning we start the Kanger National Park on the shores of Kholaba - river . Located in the dense rain forest that once covered the entire region, still live a few Adivasis -strains. You are not a homogeneous population group, but belong to different tribes. We visit the Gond and Maria Gond Abuj - strains. Their ancestors of these tribals already populated the ancient continent Gondwana. From here we proceed to the Tirathgarh - Waterfall drunk, who throws over 300 feet in depth. A spiral staircase leads us there to the Kutmsa - caves, stunning rock formations poses. Overnight at hotel
Day 05 : Jagdalpur
In the morning we visit the Anthropological Museum , where we get a good look at the original tribes and ethnic groups in the state of Chhattisgarh. Then we go to Chitrakoot waterfall, the largest waterfall in South Asia. This gift of nature is also a holy land, blessed by the gods and sanctified by the faith of pilgrims. Here in the deep woods Rama and Sita, spent 11 years in exile here meditating the famous sages Atri and Sati Anusuya and here were Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, the most important Göttertrinität, its incarnations. On the way back we visit the Bison - Horn Maria - tribe, known for its rhythmic dance. Overnight at hotel
Day 06 : Jagdalpur – Gupteshwar – Jeypore
In the morning we drive to Jeypore (90 km / 3 hours). Enroute stop in Gupteswar Gupteshwar is a world-famous pilgrim site situated about 55 km away. It is a limestone cave discovered some time ago and has a number of scenic spots around. The main attraction is the gigantic Shiva Lingam which is said to be increasing in size. Here one can see the Dhuruwa – tribe who believe that animals, birds, and trees possess souls. They call upon a spirit of rain/river water to bless them with good catches of fish and abundant crops.. Here we also the hustle and bustle of the Nuagaon market can experience. Then we drive Jeypore. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Overnight in hotel
Day 07 : Jeypore
Orissa in India has the largest number of ethnic tribes. Because of their geographical remoteness from the culture of modern civilization has so far remained untouched. We're going to Mindiguda and visit the market of the Bonda, where still the barter is tradition. On the way back to Jeypore, we visit the tribal village of Bhumiya known for exemplary agriculture. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Jeypore - Rayagada
In the morning we set off to Rayagada (130 km / 4 hours) on. On the way we visit the villages of the Bada Paroja and stroll through the weekly market in Kakriguma. Continue to Rayagada. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Rayagada
In the morning we start our day tour to the Kutia Kondh, a tribe of Kondh in Matrugaon. In Kothagada we can tempt us at the weekly market to the one or other souvenirs. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 10 : Rayagada – Gopalpur
Early morning we depart for Chatikona on to the interesting weekly market Dongriya Kondh- strains to experience, another tribe of Kondh. Then we drive to Gopalpur - on - Sea (190 km / 5 hrs), a quiet seaside resort on a white, long beach, where we spend a night at the sound of the sea and relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Gopalpur on Sea – Puri
In the morning we drive to Puri. Enroute visit Chilika Lake in Barkul, the largest brackish lake in India. Depending on the weather we go by boat to the bird islands and island Balabana. Continue to Puri. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Puri, one of the holiest shrines of Hindus, where thousands of pilgrims visit every day the mighty Jagannath – Temple. This evening relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel
Day 12 : Puri
In the morning we set off to Konark, around which myths courted sun temple to visit. He is in the form of a drawn by seven horses and processional chariot with 24 wheels and is designed not only because of the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site. On the way we also visit the idyllic riverside Ramchandi Temple. On Chandrabhaga Beach we have a visit to a small fishing village end of the day. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 13 : Puri - Bhubaneshwar
After breakfast you will be driven to Bhubaneshwar. On the way we visit Raghurajpur, the attraction here are the textile paintings of Pattachitra. Continue to Pipli, known for brilliant application work, such as colorful umbrellas subjects. Later we visit Dhauli of which stands on a hill, the gleaming white peace pagoda. Continue to Bhubaneshwar. Arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 14 : Bhubaneswar - Kolkata ( By Flight)
After breakfast proceed to visit the Rajarani - Brahmeswar - Mukteswar - Parsurameswar - and Lingaraja -Temple. Afternoon we visit the Khandagiri - and Udaigiri Jain - caves, in the first Century BC, retreats to the Jain monks. The most interesting one is the two-storey Queen's cave, which is decorated with lots of beading. This evening you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Kolkotta. On arrival you will be met upon by our representative in Kolkata airport and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 15 : Kolkata
After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing to Kolkata visiting the botanical garden, which has a variety of tropical trees. The main attraction is certainly the more than 200 years old Banyan -tree (Ficus bengalensis), which deals with over 300 aerial roots extend over 60 m, the largest ficus tree in the world. Then we visit Belur Math, the center of international Ramakrishna - movement. The unique architecture of its buildings reflects the tolerance of all religions as against Ramakrishna's top priority, a combination of temples, mosques and churches. By boat, we then cross the Hooghly at Dakshineswar -Temple on the eastern shore, one of the most popular pilgrimage places of Bengal. The system consists of the main temple of the goddess Kali was dedicated as well as 12 smaller Shiva - temples. Then we drive back to Kolkata for hotel check in. Overnight at hotel
Day 16 : Kolkata
Morning visit Calcutta, former capital of British India, the Victoria Memorial Hall , a huge white marble building, built to commemorate Queen Victoria. Then we visit the simple “Mother House "of Mother Teresa. Then we drive through the huge Howrah Bridge. After experiencing the Hindu Durga Puja - Festival , the biggest festival of Bengal. It is regarded as the festival of encounter and homage to the gods. Overnight at hotel
Day 17 : Depart Kolkata
This day you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
